Mini Countryman S ALL4 Desert Night Edition Launches

MINI has unveiled the Countryman S ALL4 Desert Night Edition, a limited‑run model aimed at drivers who want a distinctive look and the brand’s typical go‑kart feel on Malaysian roads.
Limited production and design cues
The edition is capped at 48 units nationwide, with 30 painted in Smokey Green and 18 in Slate Blue. Both colors carry exclusive “Desert Night” styling that draws on the contrast of a desert after sunset. Signature accents appear on the C‑ and D‑pillars, front bumper, and unique hub caps, while matching valve caps and decals on the doors and tailgate reinforce the theme.
Inside, the cabin adopts a “Favoured Trim” scheme featuring rich blue and warm brown upholstery, textiles that echo shifting sands, and a special steering‑wheel badge. Floor‑mat detailing and a key‑fob cap also carry the Desert Night motif, giving the car a cohesive, adventure‑oriented identity.
Performance and technology
Power comes from a 2.0‑litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and tops out at 228 km/h, matching the performance of the standard Countryman S ALL4.
Standard equipment now includes MINI Driving Assistant Plus with Active Cruise Control, a first for the Malaysian Countryman. The system automatically adjusts speed to traffic and keeps a safe following distance, easing the strain of long trips.

At the centre of the dashboard sits MINI’s OLED display, the industry’s first circular OLED screen. Built with a premium glass surface, it offers clear visuals, reduced glare and resistance to fingerprints, serving as a single hub for infotainment, vehicle controls and driver‑assistance functions.
While the Countryman retains the brand’s higher driving position and generous luggage capacity, its handling still feels agile, preserving the go‑kart sensation that MINI fans expect.
Pricing starts at RM267,333, with an optional Service & Repair Inclusive package raising the total to RM277,733.
The price includes standard accessories.
Early‑bird incentives include a RM12,000 cash rebate and an additional RM10,000 discount for buyers who select the MINI Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia.

Financing options range from a five‑year Easy Drive plan at roughly RM2,271 per month to a nine‑year Straight‑Line plan at about RM2,185 per month, both based on a 75 % loan‑to‑value ratio.
Booking must be secured by 4 October, before the Sepang race flag drops, or while inventory lasts. Prospective owners can arrange a test drive or learn more through MINI Malaysia’s official social channels.
Compared with previous limited‑edition Countryman releases, this model leans more heavily on a thematic exterior palette and a unique interior colour story, suggesting MINI is pushing the envelope on boutique‑style differentiation rather than merely adding badge‑level upgrades.
Overall, the Desert Night Edition blends the brand’s recognizable character with a set of exclusive visual touches and a suite of driver‑assist technologies, aiming to attract buyers who value both individuality and everyday practicality.
