“The ID. Polo has significantly exceeded original expectations, particularly in Germany,” a company spokesperson said. Volkswagen is also readying a hotter version, the ID. Polo GTI which brings 223 horsepower of output and pre-sales starting this autumn at just under €39,000 ($42,500).

Production Capacity Bottleneck
